Turnera subulata (White Alder) [Panama – Equador]: Perennial herb, often woody at the base, 30-80 cm high, with a frequently very strong taproot; stems terete, leafy over a considerable length, densely appressed pubescent. Leaves not crowded, ovate-elliptic or ovate-oblong from a cuneate entire base, acute or rather obtuse.
Originally from The Bahamas, Winston studied with the New York Institute of Photography (NYI)
and at the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale (A School of Professional Studies).
He is an alumnus of the Catholic University of America ~ Washington DC.,
and of the University of Miami ~ Coral Gables, Florida.
