Clytostoma callistegioides or Lavender Trumpet Vine is a robust, carefree climber with fragrant, showy, lilac flowers and glossy green foliage year round, excellent for covering a long fence, or for tying up under your eaves. Native to Argentina and southern Brazil, this beauty is perennial in zones 8-11, a fine greenhouse plant elsewhere. In late spring, it explodes with 3" lavender trumpets streaked with purple, and continues blooming through fall.

Originally from the Islands of The Bahamas, Winston is a graduate of the New York Institute of Photography
and of the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale (A School of Professional Studies).
